Recipe: Green juice – Reset your body & mind

Green juices – they have become pretty popular nowadays. Some swear on the power of juicing, others cavil about its lack of fiber and high sugar content. In terms of nutrition and physiology, vegetable based juices do have some benefits:

Juices are the pure extract of vegetables and fruits. They’re jam-packed with nutritious ingredients, such as vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and water. Of course, you also get the sugar content out of the whole food, thus, I recommend keeping the fruit-to-vegetable-ratio rather low. If it’s palatable for you, just go for the veggies.

“Your body is your temple.
Keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in.”
(B.K.S. Iyengar)

Beside the highly nutritious ingredients, your digestive tract gets a break as it doesn’t have to handle all the fiber. Plus, absorption happens super quickly, so the nutrients can flood your bloodstream immediately.

Wherever you are on your (health) journey – a green juice every now and then (or even daily) can boost your vitality and enhance your vibration.

For this recipe, you can either use a juicer or a nut milk bag. The pulp can be reused. 🙂
